Bringing together her Venetian flair and her passion for all things Provençal, Giuseppina’s will inspire you to continue celebrating life’s abundance whether you’re in Provence or in your home kitchen. Cooking Classes with Market Day
Begin the day with Giuseppina at one of the bountiful local markets. After an invigorating morning of shopping and selecting fresh, local ingredients, you will return to Giuseppina’s charming Provençal house to prepare a delicious and healthy lunch. Afterwards, you are invited sit at a beautiful table under the olive trees and enjoy an aperitif followed by a leisurely lunch that was cooked lovingly by you and Giuseppina. Chilly or winter weather? No matter. Imagine the warmth of a fireplace as you sit around the large antique dining table enjoying your delicious meal surrounded by laughter of your new friends. Classes include all ingredients, instructions, equipment, wine, and recipes.

CLASS SIZE: 6-8 (10 maximum)

Cooking Like a Local
You’re invited to chez Giuseppina for a cooking class that will inspire you to bring a little bit of Provence magic back home. Under Giuseppina’s guidance, she will custom design a class with seasonal local ingredients. Learn to prep, chop and cook your food like a local. After your cooking session, you will be invited to relax with a chilled glass of wine or beverage of your choice and taste all the delectable dishes you and Giuseppina have created. Classes include all ingredients, instructions, equipment, wine, and recipes.

Giuseppina is pleased to announce her special courses for 2019 - 2020
All about Truffles
This special class will be held in the afternoon followed by dinner. Giuseppina will teach you the best way to incorporate truffles for an appetizer, a starter, a main and a side dish. You will leave the evening with Giuseppina’s secret truffle recipes. This unforgettable evening will begin with champagne served with the appetizer followed by fine wines paired with each course. Summer truffles will be sourced as these are the optimal from June to mid-August.

Foraging
Foraging is a tradition in the Venetian Countryside. Giuseppina with her rich Italian heritage recalls her family tradition where she and her mother wandered the spring fields hunting for nature’s treasures. “It was the period when there was nothing in the vegetable garden but nature offered us a generous amount of different herbs rich in healthy components. It has always been our spring detox diet.” From the end of March until the end of May, Provence offers a melange of wild ready to pick herbs. With Giuseppina’s imaginative recipes, join her in wandering the magical super-natural market of Provence.

Choosing ingredients, preparation, planning for the week, setting a beautiful table, these are just some of the items you will learn from this personalized session. A communal dining experience at chez Giuseppina
A unique way to meet others who are passionate about food and Provence! Come join Giuseppina in the warmth of her home and hospitality. Starting with an aperitif and nibbles followed by a first course, main dish, sides and finishing with a dessert, you will take home an experience that will be the highlight of your Provençal holiday. Depending on the local ingredients, the meal could also feature more side dishes rather than a first course. Guests will have a choice of regional or other French wines (prices vary and not included in the price)

Private Venue
Created especially for your special occasion
Giuseppina will discuss with you in advance how to customize the menu and wines to create a truly memorable event for you and your guests. Provençal, Italian or Venetian themes are just some of the options that are available under the expertise of Giuseppina’s thoughtful creations. Dinner with sommelier wine pairing is an option but must be reserved well in advance.
